The Kansas CCH Law requires an applicant to satisfactorily complete 8 hours of Kansas AG approved instruction on gun safety.  The training must include (A) training in the safe storage of weapons, (B) actual firing of weapons and (C) instruction in the use of deadly force.  The instructor must be certified by the Kansas AG.

Our course, which meets all the Kansas AG requirements and is taught by a Kansas AG certified instructor, consists of eight hours of multi-media classroom instruction and range fire and, unless scheduled otherwise, classes start promptly at 8:00 AM and will be completed by 5:00 PM. Our training schedule is available at this link:

Training Schedule

Course materials, targets, lunch and facility use are included in the $150 course fee.

You must bring a legal handgun in good working order, as well as a holster and a minimum of 65 rounds of factory ammunition for that handgun.  (This allows 15 rounds for practice and one qualifying course of 25 shots with the capability of doing a refire if necessary).

The firing range is outdoors; which adds realism to the training, but also requires appropriate dress for unpredictable weather.

If you need a photo for your Kansas CCH license application, the LaSada staff will be available during the day to take photos for a nominal additional charge.  (Note:  This charge is NOT included in the $150 course fee.)

Classes are generally offered once a month.  If you would like to put together your own interested group we can attempt to accommodate you on another date more convenient to you.
